Middle School Helps with Grape Harvest
All of the students of RIA, including the Middle School, helped to harvest the grapes in the small vineyard right beside our school. Students had a lot of fun helping each other to clip off the grape clusters and carry them to the waiting trailer. There, some of the grapes were crushed, and all of us got to sample the fresh, cold grapejuice. Yum!

Welcome to Middle School!

The 6th, 7th, and 8th graders stay busy on a daily basis here at RIA. Every day is a full schedule of Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Bible class is also a vital part of our morning routine. During this time, we are currently learning how to sharpen our leadership skills while we study the characteristics of great leaders in the Bible.

Since one goal of middle school is to prepare students for the responsibilities of high school, a great emphasis is placed on academics; however, deliberate planning is done to ensure multi-age level interaction as well. Recess, combining classes to teach a lesson, and reading to the younger students are a few examples of the interaction possibilities.

You are invited to come visit the middle school and see for yourself how much hard work, teamwork, and fun can happen in one day.
